Netanyahu defies US-Iran deal, vows to keep Israeli troops in southern Lebanon

Israel says it's determined to maintain the zones being occupied by its troops in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza. This clashes with Iran's insistence that the war in Lebanon must end and has deepened a now public rift between Israel and the US. Israel now faces wide international opposition, but it has not been enough to make it change course.
