CHAOS: Trump forces DNI hearing delay leaving Intelligence pick in limbo 

The future of American national security was thrown into chaos yesterday after President Donald Trump attempted to unilaterally put the Senate confirmation hearing of his DNI pick, Jay Clayton, on hold. Senate Republicans initially pushed back, but by early yesterday afternoon, they had reversed course. The hearing was postponed, with no clear timeline for when it will be rescheduled.
