Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister Emelia Arthur has announced a new national commitment of $20 million to develop Aquaculture Economic Zones across the country.
The initiative is designed to boost sustainable fish production, attract private investment, create employment opportunities, and strengthen Ghana's food security agenda.
It forms part of government's broader Blue Economy strategy aimed at modernising the fisheries sector and improving livelihoods in coastal and inland communities.
