Duanwu through the ages | Dragon boats fire up festive spirit

In the run-up to China's annual Dragon Boat Festival, or Duanwu Festival, Guangzhou's Chebei Village comes alive with rituals involving dragon boats. Like countless generations before them, residents revive their vessels, clean them by hand, and place the dragon head before racing them on the river.
