Ghana and Burkina Faso have renewed their commitment to strengthening the reaffirmation and joint management of their shared land boundary.

At a week-long series of bilateral engagements that began on June 16, 2026, in Burkina Faso, officials from both countries have been discussing key issues including peaceful coexistence, cross-border cooperation, and regional integration.

The meetings form part of ongoing efforts to enhance stability and strengthen diplomatic relations between the two neighbouring West African countries.

The initiative is expected to improve coordination along the shared border and promote long-term peace and development for communities on both sides.
