Residents in communities within the Asokore Mampong Municipality in the Ashanti Region are urging authorities to ensure that ongoing road rehabilitation works are completed on schedule.

While many residents have welcomed efforts to improve road infrastructure, concerns remain that the project could suffer delays or abandonment, as has been experienced in previous years.

Channel One News' Bureau Chief for the Middle Belt, Hafiz Tijani, reports that residents are calling for stronger oversight to ensure timely completion and long-term durability of the works.

The rehabilitation project is expected to improve connectivity and ease transportation challenges within the municipality.
