Government Clears All Arrears on Tema Motorway Project — Agbodza
The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, has announced that government has fully settled all outstanding arrears owed to the contractor working on the Tema Motorway project.
Addressing Parliament, the Minister assured lawmakers that there are currently no outstanding payments under the contract, clearing concerns about financial delays affecting the project.
He explained that government has prioritised the clearance of arrears to ensure contractors are not constrained financially, a move expected to accelerate work on one of Ghana's key transport corridors.
The assurance is part of broader efforts to improve efficiency and speed up delivery of major infrastructure projects across the country.
