Afenyo-Markin Raises Concerns Over Ministerial Awards After Praising Agbodza

The Minority leadership in Parliament has commended the Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwame Governs Agbodza, for his performance and leadership in the road sector.

Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin and Second Deputy Minority Whip Jerry Ahmed Shaib expressed appreciation for the Minister's efforts while speaking on the floor of Parliament.

However, they also questioned the criteria used for recent ministerial awards, noting that the Roads Minister's contributions appeared to have been overlooked in the selection process.

The comments come amid broader parliamentary discussions on recognition, accountability, and performance in public office.
