WATCH: Ho West MP Prays for Black Stars to Win 2026 FIFA World Cup
Member of Parliament for Ho West, Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, offered a passionate prayer on the floor of Parliament ahead of Ghana's FIFA World Cup clash against Panama.
In his remarks, the lawmaker asked for divine favour for the Black Stars, expressing confidence that Ghana would not only win the day's match but go on to reach the final and lift the trophy.
"Today's game is a win, but all we are looking from You, Lord, is that they will bring the trophy. They will score and score, qualify to the final, and the Black Stars will be the African country to win this," he prayed.
The prayer drew attention in Parliament as lawmakers rallied behind the national team ahead of a crucial World Cup encounter.
