Judge berates Gilgo Beach serial killer before sentencing

Judge Timothy Mazzei sentenced Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann to life in prison after he admitted to killing eight women.

“You are a disgusting, despicable and small man, and you are a coward,” Mazzei said before handing down Heuermann's life sentences, which he was ordered to serve consecutively without the possibility of parole.
