Dr. Michael Ofori Mensah has clarified that the Government Defence Integrity Index does not directly measure corruption in defence institutions.
Instead, he explains that the index assesses political, financial, and institutional risks within defence sectors, helping to identify vulnerabilities that could expose systems to corruption and governance failures.
He added that the findings are intended to support reforms and strengthen accountability and transparency within defence governance structures.
