The Clean Up Accra initiative continues at the Achimota enclave, particularly around the Achimota Forest, where extensive desilting works are underway to restore water flow and reduce flooding risks.
Led by Zoomlion Ghana Limited in partnership with Channel One TV, the Ghana Police Service, and National Disaster Management Organisation, the exercise targets long-neglected drains that have contributed to waterlogging and poor sanitation.
