'Stinking piece of baggage': Sen. Whitehouse says GOP may want to 'steer clear' of Blanche

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche is making the rounds on Capitol Hill as he tries to gain more GOP support for his confirmation hearing in July. Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle say they have questions about Blanche's role in pushing a $1.8B "anti-weaponization" fund for Trump allies. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), a member of the Senate Judiciary committee, joins Alicia Menendez and reveals Blanche hasn't asked to meet with him.
