The Ghana Police Service has arrested Michael Mensah, 39, in connection with the murder of Innocentia Atsufui Avinu.
Police say the suspect was apprehended at the Pedu Lorry Station following intelligence-led operations. Preliminary investigations indicate that he allegedly took the deceased from the UCC hostel enclave to Hutchland Beach, where she was last seen.
Investigations are ongoing as police work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the case.
