Peruvian copper, gold prices rise with China a main destination

The global rise in copper and gold prices sent Peruvian exports soaring in the first quarter of the year. China remains the main destination for Peruvian exports and one of the world's largest buyers of copper, a key mineral for the manufacture of electric vehicles, batteries, and energy technology.
