Britain announces sweeping social media ban for under-16s

The UK prime minister has announced a total ban on social media access for children under the age of 16. Keir Starmer warned unrestricted access to digital sites is having an impact on children's happiness and mental health. Starmer hopes the regulation will be passed by the end of the year.
