World's longest steel arch bridge reaches key construction milestone in China

The Fenglai Daxi River #Bridge, the world's longest-span steel arch bridge, has achieved a major construction milestone with the successful closure of its steel-concrete girder. With a main span of 580 meters, the mega bridge crosses steep river valleys and overcomes extremely difficult construction conditions. Once completed, the new #expressway will significantly reduce travel times, improve regional transportation links and promote economic integration and high-quality development in southwest China.#coolchina
