Iran emerges stronger, Israel more isolated after war, analysts warn
Alan Eyre, a distinguished diplomatic fellow at the Middle East Institute and former senior US diplomat on the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, and Alon Pinkas, former Israeli ambassador and consul general in New York and columnist at The New Republic, tell Al Jazeera that Iran has emerged geopolitically stronger and more emboldened after the war, using new deterrence in the Strait of Hormuz, while Israel is more isolated, facing a weaker power balance and tensions with the US.
