Iran World Cup team chief slams FIFA and US over visa issues

Iran's World Cup team supervisor says FIFA failed to deliver on promises that Iranian football officials would receive visas to attend the team's matches in the U.S.

Mahdi Mohammad Nabi told the press that he has "never experienced such a lack of coordination" at a World Cup.

The comments come after FIFA President Gianni Infantino praised Iran's participation as a success story ahead of the tournament, but added that he could not force entry rules on a host country.
