Helping the hopeless: Syrian refugee-turned-humanitarian

Shadi Martini has been providing medical care to Syrian refugees since 2011. Martini's path was reshaped by war. From businessman in Aleppo to hospital manager during the conflict, he was eventually forced to flee and rebuild his life as a refugee, becoming a respected humanitarian leader along the way. He currently serves as CEO of the Multifaith Alliance.
