Greg Garza shares his excitement for World Cup 2026
Former U.S. men's national team defender Greg Garza says the 2026 FIFA World Cup is bringing Mexico, Canada and the United States together, despite their traditional soccer rivalries.
Garza shared his excitement surrounding the expanded 48-team tournament, the growth of professional soccer in the U.S. since the country last hosted the World Cup in 1994, and the event's broader legacy of strengthening diversity, community and unity across the three host nations.
Garza spoke with CGTN's Dan Williams in New York.
