This journalist just won 7 Emmys. Getting trapped during a coup is just one of her many stories

The investigative series “Trafficked” recently won 7 Emmys, but the show is coming to an end. The host, journalist Mariana Van Zeller, over the years has embedded with smugglers, drug lords, assassins and says in order to understand them and get the whole story “you have to be able to walk in people's shoes.” But amid violence and crackdowns she says it is “perhaps the most challenging time to be a journalist.”
