The Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Prof. Benjamin Emikpe, says government has approved GH¢68 million to complete Phase II of the Veterinary Medicine Complex.
The project, which has been stalled since 2014, is expected to significantly expand teaching, research, and clinical training facilities for veterinary education in Ghana.
According to him, the completion of the facility will strengthen veterinary training and improve research capacity in the country.
