Channel One News Joins Clean-Up Drive to Prevent Urban Flooding

As Ghana continues to grapple with perennial flooding challenges, Channel One TV has partnered with Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the Ghana Police Service, and other agencies to carry out a major desilting and clean-up exercise in Accra.
The exercise focused on key flood-prone areas including the Ring Road–Nkrumah Circle stretch and the Madina–Adentan enclave, where drains were cleared of debris to improve water flow and reduce the risk of flooding.
The initiative has renewed calls for a more structured and sustainable approach to communal labour and urban sanitation management across the country.
