Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie has described the Legal Education Act, 2026 as a landmark reform aimed at transforming legal training in Ghana.
According to him, the new legislation will significantly expand access to legal education while ensuring that high professional and academic standards are maintained in the training of lawyers.
He noted that the reform will create more opportunities for qualified students seeking to pursue legal education in the country, addressing longstanding concerns about limited access to legal training institutions.
The Chief Justice says the Act represents a major step forward in strengthening Ghana's legal education system and the broader justice delivery framework.
