Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, has stated that Parliament retains the authority to revisit the Human Sexual Rights and Family Values Bill.
According to him, the House can move a formal motion to rescind its earlier decision on the Bill if Members of Parliament consider it necessary.
His comments come amid ongoing public and political debate surrounding the passage of the controversial legislation and renewed calls for its reconsideration.
