Ghanaian businesses are being urged to adopt a more strategic and proactive approach to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Stakeholders say the private sector must take the lead in driving Ghana's participation in Africa's single market, which presents access to a population of over 1.4 billion people.

The call highlights the need for businesses to scale up, improve competitiveness, and position themselves to take advantage of the growing intra-African trade opportunities under the AfCFTA framework.
