Massive Traffic Gridlock Hits Accra–Nsawam Highway Over Potholes
Hundreds of commuters using the Accra–Nsawam Highway were left frustrated after potholes on a section of the road caused severe traffic congestion and long delays.
The affected stretch, which serves as a major transport corridor linking communities including Tesano, has become a growing concern for motorists due to its recurring deterioration despite repeated repair works.
Speaking to Channel One News, commuters described the situation as unacceptable and called for a lasting solution to the persistent road defects that continue to disrupt travel and economic activity.
Many road users say the cycle of temporary repairs and worsening road conditions has led to increased travel times, vehicle damage, and daily inconvenience.
