Asenso Boakye Fires Back: Akufo-Addo Govt Spent GH¢540M on Flood Control | News Feed
Former Minister of Works and Housing, Francis Asenso Boakye, says the Akufo-Addo administration allocated GH¢540 million to tackle flooding in Accra during its tenure.
The Bantama MP insists that claims suggesting the previous government did little to address flooding are inaccurate. Speaking to Channel One News, he argued that ongoing flood-control initiatives were being undermined, alleging that the current administration has abandoned key projects aimed at mitigating flooding in the capital.
The remarks come amid renewed public debate over persistent flooding challenges in Accra.
