Excavators are currently being used to clear large amounts of waste and sand that have blocked drains in the area as part of the Clean Up Accra initiative.

The exercise is being led by Zoomlion Ghana Limited, in partnership with Channel One TV, the Ghana Police Service, and National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), aimed at improving sanitation and reducing flood risks across Accra.

The initiative continues to focus on clearing blocked drains and restoring proper water flow in key flood-prone communities.
