The Sekondi College PTA says it will petition the West African Examinations Council to allow 154 candidates who were denied entry to sit for the Chemistry paper due to alleged lateness following heavy rainfall.
PTA Chairperson Mercy Dadzie Turkson explained that some students arrived about 10 minutes after the scheduled time due to weather disruptions but were still refused entry by an external invigilator.
The situation has sparked renewed calls for flexibility in examination administration under exceptional circumstances, as stakeholders push for a review of the decision affecting the candidates.
