The Western Regional Branch Controller of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), Anthony Logodzo, says the case involving 154 WASSCE candidates from Sekondi College who were denied the opportunity to write the Chemistry paper has now been escalated to WAEC Headquarters.
He confirmed that investigations are currently underway, with the involvement of the Ghana Education Service Director-General and regional directors to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The development comes amid growing public concern over examination protocols and student welfare during the WASSCE period.
