Dr. Aiden Saanwie: Eastern Regional Hospital Upgrading Human Resources Ahead of Expansion
The Medical Superintendent of the Eastern Regional Hospital, Dr. Aiden Suntaa Saanwie, has welcomed news of the planned resumption of construction on the new Eastern Regional Hospital project.
Reacting to the development, Dr. Saanwie said hospital management is also working to strengthen its human resource capacity to meet future demands, particularly if the facility is upgraded into a teaching hospital upon completion.
According to him, preparations are already underway to ensure the hospital is adequately staffed and equipped to deliver quality healthcare services while supporting medical training and education.
The comments come after President John Dramani Mahama directed contractors to return to site and resume work on the stalled hospital project.
