Bukom Banku: “No One Like Asamoah Gyan in the Black Stars Today”
🥊⚽ Former Ghanaian boxer Bukom Banku, also known as Braimah Kamoko, has shared his thoughts on former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan during an appearance on Community Kickoff with Bennard Abeiku Otchere.
Responding to a question about whether the current Black Stars have a player like Gyan, Bukom Banku said there is no one comparable to him in the team today.
He added that the Black Stars “collapsed” after Asamoah Gyan left the national team, insisting that Gyan still had the quality to have played at another World Cup.
Bukom Banku further remarked that even if Gyan is no longer playing at top level, he could still contribute to Ghana football in a coaching capacity.
