Head of Trade and Working Capital at Absa Bank Ghana, Emmanuel Mensah, says the bank remains committed to supporting businesses with the financial resources needed to expand, especially those positioning themselves under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Speaking at the Citi Business Festival 2026 Roundtable Discussion, he noted that access to funding is available for businesses with strong operational structures and sustainable models.
He added that under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), banks must ensure prudent investment of depositor funds while still supporting viable businesses with credible growth plans.
