NPP Tema East Aspirants Demand Suspension of Electoral Process Over Irregularities

Some concerned aspirants and party faithful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Tema East Constituency are calling for the suspension of the party's ongoing electoral process over alleged irregularities in the polling station album.
The group claims the album contains questionable entries, including names of persons who no longer reside in the constituency, while some elected officials have allegedly been omitted.
Addressing a press conference, Convenor Ernest Perry Agbemordzi warned of legal action if their concerns are not addressed before the upcoming Electoral Area Coordinators' elections.
The group is also urging national leadership to investigate allegations of intimidation and undue influence in the process, calling for greater transparency and a review of the polling station album.
They further accused constituency executives and National Organizer aspirant Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus Glover of actions they claim have undermined fairness in the process.
