A storm drain filled with sand at Toll Booth, Weija Junction contributed to flash flooding following heavy rains in the area, disrupting movement and exposing drainage challenges.
Work is now underway to clear the blocked drain as part of Zoomlion Ghana's Clean Up Accra initiative, in partnership with Channel One TV and the Ghana Police Service. The exercise aims to restore proper drainage flow, reduce flooding risks, and improve sanitation in affected communities.
