Suppliers under the National Association of Institutional Suppliers (NAIS) are appealing to government to urgently settle outstanding payments under the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) programme.
They say prolonged delays in payment are causing severe financial hardship and threatening their ability to continue supplying essential items such as uniforms, house dresses, and school cloth to senior high schools across the country.
The group warns that continued delays could disrupt supply chains and affect smooth operations in schools nationwide.
