Tourist train to world's highest railway station

Imagine traveling to the very roof of the world. That's exactly what a special tourist train offers. Departing from Xining, capital of northwest China's Qinghai Province, and heading to Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, this train carries around 300 passengers.

For many tourists, this trip is a lifelong dream. As one passenger from central China's Hunan Province puts it: "A dream I've cherished for decades. Now, I finally made my dream come true." Another from Shaanxi called the journey "spectacular", moved by both the majestic landscapes and the greatness of the people who built this "sky road."
