New World Cup ball promises improved touch and flight control

Adidas has unveiled the Trionda Pro, the official match ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted across Canada, the United States and Mexico. Made by Forward Sports in Pakistan, the ball features thermally bonded panels designed to absorb less water and deliver a more predictable flight. Former Manchester City forward Nicky Summerbee tested the ball, offering a positive assessment of its touch and performance. With 104 matches scheduled, the Trionda is set to be the most-used ball in World Cup history.
