Roger Ames: Chinese classics an important contribution to a new cultural order today

The Second World Conference of Classics was held in Athens from June 9 to 10. Renowned scholar Roger Ames joined Tian Wei for a deep dive into why Chinese civilization should be understood on its own terms rather than through rigid Western categories. Ames explored how Chinese classics have persistently shaped modern Chinese life. He also said that Chinese classics have made an important contribution to a new cultural order in the world today.
