Guinea-Bissau minister: Right to development key to human rights

The 2026 Forum on Global Human Rights Governance opened in Beijing on Thursday.

Joao Bernardo Vieira, minister of justice and human rights of Guinea-Bissau, stated that for developing countries, such as Guinea Bissau, the right to development remains central to the realization of all other human rights.
