Chargé d'Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Ghana, Rolf Olson, has reiterated the United States' commitment to collaborating with the Ghanaian government in efforts to combat crime and terrorism.
He made the remarks at the U.S 250th Independence Excellence Awards, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, under the theme “Freedom250.”
In his address, Mr. Olson highlighted ongoing cooperation between Ghana and the United States in strengthening law enforcement and justice systems. He also cited the recent extradition and prosecution of former MASLOC CEO Sedina Attionu Tamakloe as an example of effective cross-border legal collaboration in addressing financial crimes.
The event brought together government officials, diplomats, and stakeholders to reflect on governance, accountability, and national security.
