Doctors and health workers at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) have resumed work following the suspension of their strike action.

The return of staff to duty has resulted in long queues at various outpatient departments and other service points as patients seek medical attention after days of disrupted services.

The strike suspension comes after engagements with key stakeholders aimed at addressing the concerns that led to the industrial action.

Hospital management is expected to work towards restoring full operational efficiency as patient turnout increases following the resumption of services.
