Head of News at Citi FM and Channel One TV, Nana Tuffour Boateng, has described a research initiative by the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) as timely and significant.
Speaking after receiving the document on behalf of management, he assured the university that the report would be thoroughly reviewed and its findings applied where relevant in news coverage and programming.
He also expressed appreciation to UMaT for the gesture, noting that the collaboration between academia and the media is important for improving accuracy and evidence-based journalism.
