The Minority in Parliament has rejected a proposal by the Majority Leader for the caucus to file an urgent question on the evacuation of Ghanaians from South Africa.
The Minority insists the matter is significant enough to require a full ministerial briefing by Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.
MP for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Boamah, says the issue has implications for Ghana–South Africa diplomatic relations and warrants deeper parliamentary scrutiny.
