Chairman of the Ashanti Regional GMA, Dr. Hammond Abeiku, says the recent industrial action by health workers has exposed longstanding challenges in healthcare delivery within the region.
He noted that the strike has also secured renewed commitments toward completing and operationalising the Afari and Sewua hospitals, aimed at easing pressure on the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) and improving healthcare access across the Ashanti Region.
