Zoomlion Ghana Limited and FeDEMS have partnered with NADMO in a major cleanup exercise in Accra aimed at reducing flooding and promoting proper waste disposal practices.
NADMO's Greater Accra Regional Director, Dennis Nartey Adjannor, says indiscriminate dumping of refuse into drains remains a major cause of flooding in the capital.
He is urging residents to support sanitation efforts by properly disposing of waste and avoiding the dumping of refuse into gutters to help prevent future flood disasters.
