What happens when a Puerto Rican traveler walks into a small town in rural Sichuan Province, China, where no one speaks English? In Ganluo County, she expected a language barrier but instead found open hearts, warm smiles and three unexpected local friends. Despite not sharing a single word of English, they laughed, toasted and connected over drinks at a cozy local pub.
