Iran's foreign ministry slammed the U.S. for politicizing the World Cup and violating FIFA's host nation obligations through its restriction on the Iranian national football team.

The Iranian football association also said that the U.S. revoked allocated tickets for Iranian supporters at the World Cup. #worldcup2026
